Recovering our stories is a visual record of 6 interviews conducted with service users at an addiction recovery charity called “project6” in keighley, U.K.
In each interview, the entire life story of each volunteer was told and turned into illustrated pages by the comics artist Glenn Hustler in his signature simple and clean monochrome style.
The aim of the project is to help address some of the stigma that still surrounds the subject of addiction and to share the profits from a crowdfunded print run with the charity to help them continue to do their important work.
